From a Passion Project to a Trusted Name

Paradise Custom Canvas opened its doors in 2001, after owner Pete Zimmerman completed a restoration project on a 1972 Century that had been in his family for many years and found that he enjoyed the work. He purchased a used commercial sewing machine, set up a table in his garage, and began making boat covers for his friends. In 2005, Paradise built and moved into its first commercial building. In 2022, Paradise built and moved into a new 4,000 square foot facility located at 1136 Spring Valley Road, Osage Beach, Missouri.

Enhancing Service with Innovation

Customer service was enhanced even further in 2015 with the addition of a fully equipped service boat. While most canvas shops will provide service dockside, Paradise’s service boat allows greater access to most areas of the lake so that pickup and delivery of projects, as well as providing bids, can be handled more efficiently, and minor repairs and modifications can be made on site.

Pete and Pam Zimmerman are strong supporters of local businesses and charitable organizations, and are active participants in several of the area’s many community events.
